Bio

American, French born artist Nathalie Chikhi began her practice with painting & drawing, before moving to sculpture, video, and large-scale installations. Her work is intricate, fragile and play with temporality, and it doesn’t fit in a visual genre, but is informed by this concept of “impermanence”, which she sees as a reflection of our physical life. Her mixed media work is based on self-exploration, thoughtful randomness and imperfection in a way that it invites viewers to interrogate, examine the artist’s vision and the possible reason of their spatial arrangement.
